At the end of July and the beginning of August, the academics of the Centre for Lifelong Learning of JDU are going to host a group of 13 students together with their teachers from Ningbo University (China), providing the visiting guests with truly unique educational and cultural opportunities.
This two-week summer exchange programme offers educational aspects alongside a wide range of cultural activities. Apart from a tailor-made sixty-hour course of the English language, business and culture, the students will have a chance to absorb new influences, experience the cultural and historical enrichment as well as the very nature of Częstochowa and its region. The sights of Jasna Góra Monastery, Kraków, ‘Wieliczka’ Salt Mine and trips to Kraków-Częstochowa Upland (Olsztyn, Mirów, Bobolice) are among numerous attractions to be enjoyed by the participants. The possibility of meeting like-minded people from different backgrounds and cultures and a chance for them to immerse in a real-life language experience in an informal environment is a real boost of this undertaking.
We hope the journey our Chinese friends as well as our students and staff are about to embark on will leave them with unforgettable experiences.
