We have a great pleasure to invite the JDU community to a celebration of 401st anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.

1st year students of English from the Institute of Foreign Languages have prepared a sumptuous feast of drama, music and dance, with guest performers: students from Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University in Ukraine, and Professor Bogusław Bierwiaczonek – an excellent linguist and academic, IFL Deputy Head, known for his extraordinary talent as an illustrator, poet, musician and sung poetry performer.

Four interpretations of selected Shakespeare’s works will be delivered by 1st year students of English Philology together with exchange students from Russia. Some Shakespeare’s sonnets will be recited as well.
